On Saturday (Sept. 25) at 11:45 a.m., Officer Jeffrey Kilroy was running stationary radar on Free Street when he observed a white Dodge pickup truck with a failed inspection sticker. He stopped the truck near Fountainbleu Drive and identified the operator as Michael F. Lynch, 47, of 26 Ledgebrook Road, Weymouth.

Lynch had no license with him but provided the officer with his name, date of birth and Social Security number. A computer check revealed that Lynch’s license had been revoked due to an arrest in Maine for operating under the influence.

Police arrested Lynch for operating after license revocation (subsequent offense). The owner of the pickup truck came to the scene so the vehicle was not towed, police said.
